Hello and welcome to Yvonne’s Cakery, based in Macclesfield, Cheshire. I create bespoke wedding and celebration cakes, cupcakes, cake pops and cookies for all occasions using only the best quality ingredients to produce the most delicious cake – and a cake has to taste good as well as look good! I only use free range eggs and real butter in my recipes, along with the best natural flavourings wherever possible and our couveture chocolate and cocoa comes from Callebaut. I create delicious creations that delight both the eye and the tastebuds.
My cakes come in any flavour, shape and size you desire and can be filled with silky chocolate ganache, fruit conserves and flavoured buttercreams depending on your preference.
Wedding cake design consultations are free of charge with no obligation and are held at our beautiful studio and bakery in Macclesfield. I also provide complimentary tasting samples of up to 3 flavours of your choice (additional flavours can be selected for a small charge which is refundable against the cost of the cake should you decide to place your order with me). Included in your quotation is delivery and set up of your wedding cake to your chosen venue and we cover Cheshire and the North West. We can also provide hire of one of our stunning wedding cake stands should you so wish.
All cakes are bespoke so please contact me for a quotation, although you can find a starting from price guide on the Flavours & Prices page. When you place your wedding cake order a £75 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date with the remaining balance to be paid no later than 1 month prior to your wedding. Other celebration cakes require a £15 deposit with the balance payable on collection. On occasion we may be able to accommodate last minute orders depending on existing commitments at that time but in these circumstances, payment will be required in full at the time of ordering.
Payment can be made via cash, Credit/Debit Card (in person only) or bank transfer.
I am Locally Authority Registered as a Food Premises, hold a Level 2 Food Hygiene for Catering Certificate and hold full Product and Public Liability Insurance.
